Floridians pick UGA

Georgia picked up two Sunshine State football commitments Friday night, giving the Bulldogs 15 for their 2011 signing class.

Providing nonbinding pledges at the "Dawg Night" camp in Athens were offensive tackle Zach DeBell of Tarpon Springs and center Nathan Theus of Jacksonville. They represent Georgia's first two commitments from Florida.

DeBell is a 6-foot-7, 270-pounder who is rated by Rivals.com as the No. 14 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 115 overall prospect. He also had early scholarship offers from Clemson, Notre Dame and Tennessee.

The 6-3, 255-pound Theus plays at The Bolles School and had early offers from Florida State and South Carolina.
