Speedy receiver commits to Georgia

Georgia picked up its ninth football commitment for the 2011 signing class and its eighth from within the state when receiver Justin Scott-Wesley made a nonbinding pledge Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder from Camilla picked the Bulldogs at the Class AA track meet in Jefferson, where he won the 100- and 200-meter dashes representing Mitchell County High School. Though Georgia was the first school to offer Scott-Wesley a scholarship, he first committed to Stanford.

Sterling Bailey, a defensive end/outside linebacker from Gainesville, Ga., committed to the Bulldogs on Friday night.
