Dogs drill in Dome

The No. 19 Georgia Bulldogs practiced Friday afternoon at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, which will be the site of their season opener next Saturday night against No. 5 Boise State.

None of Georgia's coaches nor players were made available to the media following the workout. The Bulldogs are scheduled to practice this morning in Athens before taking Sunday off and then resuming Monday with game-week preparation for the Broncos.

Reports surfaced Friday morning that junior cornerback Branden Smith was spotted on campus wearing a protective boot. Bulldogs media relations director Claude Felton said Friday night that he was not expecting any update on Smith's status.

Richt is scheduled to meet with the media this morning.
