Georgia hosting Jaguars in 2014

Georgia has added South Alabama to its 2014 football schedule, Bulldogs athletic officials confirmed Friday.

The Bulldogs and Jaguars will meet Nov. 8 of that year in Sanford Stadium, and the inaugural matchup between the two schools is expected to fall between Georgia's games against Florida and Auburn. South Alabama currently plays in the Football Championship Subdivision but in 2013 will compete in the Sun Belt Conference.

South Alabama is scheduled play at Mississippi State in 2012 and at Tennessee in '13.

Georgia's nonconference foes in upcoming years: 2011-Boise State, Coastal Carolina, New Mexico State and Georgia Tech; 2012-Buffalo, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern and Georgia Tech; 2013-North Texas, Appalachian State, Clemson and Georgia Tech; 2014-Clemson, Charleston Southern, South Alabama and Georgia Tech.
