Bradley Central all-state wide receiver James Stovall has committed to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, giving the Mocs three wideouts among their four commitments for the Class of 2012.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Stovall, a member of the Times Free Press' preseason Dynamite Dozen, had 46 receptions and nearly 700 yards receiving for the Bears this season.

"I really liked the coaches, the school and I really liked the campus," Stovall said Sunday night. "I liked [assistant coaches Will Healy and Tony Coode] and I really got a good bond with them."

Stovall was Class 6A all-state last season after finishing with 76 receptions for 1,085 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He set a state-playoff record in 2010 with 19 catches for 181 yards in the second round against Oak Ridge.

Bradley Central fell 34-28 at Cookeville on Friday in the first round of the playoffs. With the season over, Stovall turned his attention to his future and picked UTC over Wofford, Eastern Kentucky and William & Mary.

"UTC's close to home and I liked that," he said.

On Friday, UTC got commitments from wideouts C.J. Board of West Creek High School in Clarksville, and Tray James of Bannaker High School in College Park, Ga.

The Mocs also have a commitment from Calhoun (Ga.) High School linebacker Alex Kirby, another member of the Dynamite Dozen.
