Chattanooga Christian pitcher Sarah Hundley recently signed softball scholarship papers with Bryan College.
Hundley batted .375 as a junior last season in addition to posting an ERA of 2.14 and registering 214 strikeouts. She earned her first pitching victory this year last Friday with a two-hit, eight-inning shutout with 18 strikeouts against fellow District 7-AA member Grundy County. She also went 3-for-4 with a double.
"Sarah will definitely come in next year and give us an additional help in the circle and should be effective against both nonconference and conference opponents," coach Rocky Stinson said in a Bryan release. "We will wait and see how the fall season goes as to whether she gets to keep her bat at Bryan College.
