Rowing

• Joanna Poinsatte from Notre Dame High School and Chattanooga Junior Rowing completed her junior season at the University of Notre Dame with an eighth-place national finish and a second consecutive selection as a College Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete. That distinction requires a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and 75 percent participation in spring races or racing in regional conference events. Poinsatte's first varsity 4 boat finished second in the petite finals, eighth overall, and Notre Dame's women were ranked 15th for the season.
