Georgia's busy weekend in football recruiting continued Sunday when the Bulldogs received a nonbinding pledge from touted offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn.
The 6-foot-2, 270-pounder from Lakewood High in St. Petersburg, Fla., is rated by Rivals.com as the nation's No. 2 offensive guard and the No. 89 prospect overall. Wynn had numerous early scholarship offers, including ones from Florida, Florida State and Miami.
Wynn is the fourth Rivals.com top-100 prospect to commit to the Bulldogs, joining running backs Sony Michel (No. 6) and Nick Chubb (No. 70) and cornerback Malkom Parrish (No. 73).
His commitment, not surprisingly, had an effect on the ever-changing recruiting rankings. The Bulldogs remained at No. 3 according to Scout.com but moved from sixth to fourth in 247sports.com's rankings and from 12th to eighth on the Rivals.com chart.
Georgia remained at 15 commitments, however, due to Krenwick Sanders choosing to reopen his recruitment. The 6-3, 180-pound receiver from Jesup, Ga., committed to the Bulldogs last November.
