University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's basketball coach Will Wade will pull back the curtain on "Chaos" a little bit Saturday.

But it's just a peek.

The Mocs will hold a showcase open to the public, beginning at 11 a.m. in McKenzie Arena.

It will be the first time anybody outside of the program -- or special guests invited to practice -- will have an opportunity to watch the Mocs under Wade and the up-tempo style he is installing at UTC.

"With Coach closing practice to everybody, people are anxious," said junior Lance Stokes, who had Thursday off but planned on shooting at least 100 free throws in the Chattem practice facility. "I'm excited to get out there and put on an exhibition of what we're doing and what 'Chaos' is all about.

"It's fast; it's up-tempo; it's aggressive; it's in-your face."

After the public viewing Saturday, the Mocs will head to the practice facility for their hard work of the day.

"We're going to do noncontact stuff in the arena," Wade said. "It will be light. After we get done, our guys will mingle a bit before we go to the facility and do the banging work and more of our five-on-five stuff."

Wade gave his players the day off Thursday after they scrimmaged for about 24 minutes Wednesday to end practice.

"We got to see guys in game-like situations, and I liked the effort," said Wade, who noted that Eric Robertson shot 4-of-5 from the 3-point line. "I think we can crank it up a little more. Now that we're flying around, we have to play with a little more poise."

Senior forward Zaccheus Mason has missed the last few practices with a knee injury, but Wade said, "He'll be fine."
