University of Tennessee at Chattanooga head coach Russ Huesman wasn't as pleased with Friday's football practice as he has been, but he stopped short of calling it a bad one.

"I know it's cliche, but when you walk off the field and don't feel great about it, it's normally not as bad as you think it is, and when you think it's great, it's never as good as you think, but we just didn't look as crisp as we had the first four days," Huesman said afterwards. "I hoped for a little more intensity, but as this thing goes, we're going to get more and more leg weary.

"We obviously have to take care of our bodies."

Redshirt freshman wide receiver Bingo Morton suffered an ankle injury during practice Friday and had to be helped off the field. Huesman said that the 6-foot-2, 205-pounder is expected to be fine as he competes for time in the Mocs' loaded wide receiving corps.

Justin King, who transferred in from the University of Tennessee, was in attendance Friday and will practice Saturday morning. The 6-foot-2, 245-pounder played a number of positions with the Vols, but is expected to be a defensive end with the Mocs

He and freshman defensive back K.J. Roper, who has been out this week, will get an opportunity to work out some this afternoon before tomorrow's practice.

"He got in last night after everything had closed, and we couldn't get him out here in time," Huesman said. "It'll be good to get him out here and see how he competes."

The Mocs have their first two-a-day on Saturday at Scrappy Moore Field, with the first beginning at 7:45 a.m. And a second scheduled for 6:45.
