Walker commits to Georgia at All-American Game

The Georgia Bulldogs received an in-state football commitment via San Antonio on Saturday afternoon when D'Andre Walker announced his college intentions at the U.S. Army All-American Game.

Walker, a 6-foot-3, 212-pound defensive end from the Atlanta suburb of Fairburn, is a four-star prospect and tallied 29 tackles for loss, including 23.5 sacks, this past season according to Rivals.com. He is Rivals' No. 6 weakside defensive end nationally and No. 10 according to 247Sports.com.

Auburn and Tennessee were also in the picture for Walker, who is Georgia's 26th commitment and the 12th from the Peach State.

The Bulldogs had been at 26 commitments entering the weekend but lost Pat Allen of Reistertown, Md., a 6-4, 285-pounder rated by Rivals as the nation's No. 17 offensive tackle. Allen had been recruited by Mike Bobo and Will Friend, two former Georgia assistants now at Colorado State.

Allen ocommitted to the Bulldogs in August but also has expressed interest in Tennessee and Oklahoma.
