SEC recruiting rankings for Jan. 25

1. ALABAMA -- Two Sunshine State four-star receivers were scheduled to visit Tuscaloosa this weekend, Ryan Davis of St. Petersburg and Antonio Callaway of Miami. Davis, rated the No. 64 overall prospect nationally by Rivals.com, is believed to be favoring Florida, with Callaway leaning to Miami. Alabama also had a scheduled visit from Georgia athlete prospect Terry Godwin, the nation's No. 10 overall prospect.

2. TENNESSEE -- Thursday's news of offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian leaving for a job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did not have an immediate impact on the class, with the Volunteers actually picking up a commitment the same day from John Kelly. The running back from Michigan chose the Vols over Michigan, Michigan State and Minnesota. Scheduled in this weekend was all-purpose back Bryce Love of Wake Forest, N.C., who is rated No. 134 overall nationally and visited Stanford last week.

3. GEORGIA -- Former receiver commitment Van Jefferson is still considering the Bulldogs along with Oklahoma, Florida and Ole Miss. Notre Dame High School cornerback Kareem Orr got a visit this past week from Mark Richt but then announced that Arizona State and Ohio State were his two finalists. The Bulldogs remain the favorites for outside linebacker Roquan Smith of Montezuma, Ga., who visited Michigan last week, was scheduled for Texas A&M this weekend and is scheduled to visit UCLA next week.

4. TEXAS A&M -- In addition to Roquan Smith's visit, the Aggies also were expected to host cornerback Kris Boyd of Gilmer, Texas, and running back Dexter Williams of Orlando, Fla. Boyd and Williams are ranked among Rivals' top 120 prospects, with Boyd reportedly favoring Texas and Williams Notre Dame.

5. LSU -- The Tigers landed one of the nation's top cornerbacks this past week by keeping Donte Jackson of New Orleans close to home. They also are going after cornerback Iman Marshall of Long Beach, the nation's top corner who was scheduled to visit Baton Rouge this weekend but is thought to be bound for Southern California. Also scheduled in was tackle Toby Weathersby of Houston, who has Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss and Oklahoma as his finalists.

6. AUBURN -- Last weekend's surplus of visitors resulted in a commitment from defensive back Tim Irwin of Palmetto Bay, Fla., who previously committed to Texas. Scheduled to visit this weekend were cornerback Jeremiah Dinson, a Kentucky commitment, and defensive tackle Daylon Mack of Gladewater, Texas. Mack is thought to be deciding between TCU and Texas A&M.

7. SOUTH CAROLINA -- There were 21 scheduled visitors in Columbia this weekend, including 17 Gamecocks commitments and one former commitment, Atlanta defensive end Arden Key. Among the undecided guests were guard Trey Derouen of Lilburn, Ga., and cornerback Rashad Fenton of Miami. Both Derouen and Fenton also are considering Florida and Louisville.

8. MISSISSIPPI STATE -- The Bulldogs are nearly through with 27 commitments, which include six early enrollees and three of those from junior college. Mississippi State signed 24 players last year, 21 in 2013 and 28 in 2012. MSU's 2011 class had 21 three-star prospects and one four-star, yet that class provided the nucleus of the 2014 10-win team with quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Josh Robinson and linebacker Benardrick McKinney.

9. OLE MISS -- The Rebels are thought to be the favorites for Cedar Hill, Texas, receiver DaMarkus Lodge, but Lodge made a midweek visit to Texas. Lodge was scheduled in Oxford this weekend along with defensive tackle Kendric Norton of Jacksonville, Fla., and defensive end Austrian Robinson of Pawling, N.Y. Norton visited Miami last week and is scheduled for Auburn next week, while Robinson visited Miami last week and is scheduled for Ohio State next week.

10. ARKANSAS -- Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema announced Thursday that Central Michigan head coach Dan Enos would be the new offensive coordinator. Scheduled to visit Fayetteville this weekend were three-star cornerback Ryan Pulley of Cape Coral, Fla., and three-star safety Kylan Johnson of Dallas. Pulley visited South Florida last weekend, while Johnson visited Texas Tech.

11. MISSOURI -- There were 13 scheduled visitors for Columbia this weekend, including six Mizzou commitments. The Tigers had undecided visitors from all over the Deep South, including athlete Keith Washington from Prattville, Ala.; defensive end Tyrell Jacobs from Metarie, La.; outside linebacker Terez Hall from Lithonia, Ga.; and cornerback Derrick Baity from Tampa, Fla.

12. KENTUCKY -- Wisconsin athlete commitment Titus Baker of Grayslake, Ill., was scheduled to visit Lexington this weekend, as was tight end Tavin Richardson of Byrnes, S.C., Richardson will be deciding among Kentucky, Louisville, UCF and Pittsburgh.

13. VANDERBILT -- The Commodores got a commitment this past week from receiver Jared Pinkney of Norcross, Ga., who visited Nashville last weekend. Pinkney also visited Central Florida and Nebraska and was scheduled to be at Florida this weekend. Of Vanderbilt's 17 commitments, four are from Tennessee and four are from Georgia.

14. FLORIDA -- The Gators were scheduled to entertain nine visitors this weekend, including six who were committed to other schools. Among the pledged visitors were quarterback Deondre Francois (Florida State), athlete D'Anfernee McGriff (Auburn) and receivers Auden Tate (FSU) and Pinkney (Vanderbilt). Among the undecided guests was four-star running back Jordan Cronkrite of Palmetto Bay, Fla., who will pick among Miami, Florida, Notre Dame and West Virginia.
