Hiwassee report
There's not a lot of information out there about the Tigers. Kitchens and High are both Brainerd High School graduates, with the latter being the nephew of legendary Panthers head coach Robert High. Kitchens seems to be the main scoring option, as he had 22 points on 19 shots in an 84-68 loss to Tennessee Wesleyan on Nov. 11, when Davidson had 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
Key matchup
The Mocs have already opened eyes as to their ability with their overtime win at Georgia on Friday. The biggest question going into tonight's game is how they will respond against a team that is, by all accounts, overmatched against UTC. The Tigers have the propensity to turn the ball over, which should feed into the Mocs' plans to pressure at will.
