Patjo Twagirayezu scored 16 points for Covenant College in an 81-50 basketball loss Tuesday night at NCAA Division I member Tennessee State, which got 17 points with five 3-point baskets from Darreon Reddick, 12 points and 14 rebounds from Wayne Martin and 11 points and five assists from Tahjere McCall.
The Tigers (9-3) led 47-24 at halftime. The game counted as an exhibition for the Division III Scots (4-5), who got 11 points from Bailey Spragg. He and Twagirayezu each made three 3-pointers.
