The second season of the Ricky Taylor Pro-Am basketball league starts this evening at Notre Dame High School.

Taylor, who scored 1,225 points for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2008-12), announced the six-game schedules recently. Games will be played on Tuesdays at 6:30 and 8 p.m., with the championships scheduled for Aug. 9.

There are four teams made up of former UTC basketball players, as well as a number of other players with area ties. Among those placed on rosters for the league are Fred Sturdivant, E'Jay Ward, Demetrius Kitchens and Tshombe High from Brainerd High School; Nick Ross, Brandon Moon and Kelvin Clay from Red Bank; Travis Core and Cole Birchfield from Dade County; Dontay Hampton from Arts & Sciences; Jonathan Adams from Baylor; Trey Suttles from Tyner; Jorden Williams from McCallie; Alex Wells from East Ridge; Corey Nelson from Grace Academy; and B.J. Davis from Cleveland.

The Court Kingz' Randall "Remix" Smith, last year's leading scorer at 31.3 points per game, is back as well. He had a 50-point game during the 2015 season.

Admission each night will be $5, and stats will be kept of the games.
