* Emma Grimes from Melbourne, Fla., Margo Koby from St. Louis and Aleksandreja Kulits from East Bend, N.C., are recent commitments for Covenant College women's basketball coach Sarah Harris. Grimes, a 5-foot-7 guard, scored 22.4 points a game as a high school senior and averaged 9.1 points in helping Eastern Florida State College win its junior college conference this past season. Koby, a 5-10 forward, was a two-year captain for Westminster Christian Academy, where she also played tennis and lacrosse, and the 6-1 Kulits averaged 18.9 points, 11.2 rebounds and four blocks a game as a senior for the Forsyth Home Educators. "With everyone returning from last year's team, we were very selective in recruiting players who would continue to help this program in its growth and heighten the talent in our program," Harris said in a Covenant post. "This class brings a combination of size, success and basketball skill that will blend nicely with our returning players."
