University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's basketball coach Matt McCall announced the addition of Iowa transfer Andrew Fleming from Nashville to the program on Tuesday.

The versatile Fleming, who stands 6-foot-5, committed to the UTC program in April. He will have to sit out the 2016-17 season but will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.

His addition will help offset the loss of six seniors after this coming season.

"Officially Moc bound! Moc up!" Fleming tweeted.

McCall said Fleming, who prepped at Ensworth for three seasons before playing his final year of high school at Oak Hill Academy, will be able to play three positions for the Mocs much like senior Tre' McLean did in McCall's first season with the program.

"He can do so many things," McCall said. "People label him as a shooter, but his ability to create for teammates is what separates him from a lot of guys. He has the ability to shoot, but he can do so much more, especially when the ball is in his hands."

McCall thinks Fleming can be used in the same way that his former employer, the University of Florida, used Chandler Parsons, now with the Dallas Mavericks.

His addition completes the Mocs' 2016 signing class. Freshman guards David Jean-Baptiste, Rodney Chatman and Makale Foreman; junior college transfer Nat Dixon, who began his career as a wide receiver at Boston College; and Xavier transfer Makinde' London previously were announced.
