Dalton State women's golfers sixth in final NAIA poll

Dalton State College was No. 6 in the final NAIA Women's Golf Coaches Top 25 poll for the 2015-16 season. DSC was ranked third going into the women's national tournament but finished 10th in the event cut in half to 36 holes in Pooler, Ga. Florida's Keiser University moved up to No. 1 after winning its second consecutive NAIA championship. William Woods (Fulton, Mo.) was second, with Savannah College of Art and Design third, Oklahoma City fourth and Cumberlands (Williamsburg, Ky.) fifth. Coach Jim McGrew's DSC Roadrunners had six tournament team wins and four individual victories this season and had three All-Americans and four Academic Scholar All-Americans.
