The Dalton State College men's soccer team followed the women's team by advancing to the Southern States Athletic Conference tournament semifinals with a 4-0 home win over Middle Georgia State on Saturday. The female Roadrunners won Friday, and both teams will play Thursday in Montgomery, Ala., the women against Mobile at 2 p.m. EST and the men against Faulkner at 8:30. Emmanuel Olusanya scored five minutes into Saturday's game from an assist by Daniel Valenciano, who sandwiched later goals around a score by Dean Foster. Santiago Moore and Jordan Man also had first-half assists for the Roadrunners (12-2-1). It's the first year of competition for the DSC women and the second for the men, who were shut out in the SSAC quarterfinals last season.
