The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will host Weber State Saturday at 2 in the first round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs, announced this morning on ESPNU.

The winner will travel to top-ranked, but fifth-seeded Sam Houston State (11-0) on Dec. 3.

The Mocs claimed their third consecutive FCS playoff berth with an 8-3 regular-season record, while Weber State finished 7-4 for their best record since 2009. They were 6-2 in the Big Sky Conference.

The Wildcats are led offensively by quarterback Jadrian Clark, who threw for 2,823 yards and 22 touchdowns. Four receivers have at least 35 catches, led by Andrew Vollert's 57 for 757 yards and six touchdowns.

Treshaun Garrett has 517 yards and five touchdowns to pace the rushing attack.

The Mocs were one of four teams from the Southern Conference to qualify for the playoffs. Conference champion The Citadel (10-1) is off this week after receiving the No. 6 seed, while Wofford (8-3) and Samford (7-4) also qualified.

The Terriers would rematch with The Citadel with a first-round win over Charleston Southern.
