One day after breaking his leg, Greg Emerson announced his commitment to the University of Tennessee.
Emerson, who's preparing for his senior season at North Side High School in Jackson and is now recovering from a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula, made an appearance on NFL Network's All Access Monday evening. During the show, he announced he plans to start classes at Tennessee in January when he enrolls early.
Emerson originally said he would share his commitment in December and start college the following month. Tennessee beats out the other five schools who Emerson ranked in his top six about a month ago - Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama, Ole Miss and Clemson.
