Bryce Carr finished the wrestling season for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a 26-6 record - two of the losses coming at the NCAA tournament in St. Louis.

Each of the junior 184-pounder's defeats this year came by one point or in overtime to NCAA tournament participants.

He'll be part of what could be a loaded UTC lineup for the 2017-18 season with fellow NCAA participant Chris DeBien coming back at 133 pounds and Scottie Boykin (197) and Mike Pongracz (141/149) rejoining the lineup. Boykin and Pongracz redshirted this season, along with Dominic Lampe (165/174) and Dylan Forzani (165/174).

The Mocs also return Alonzo Allen (125), Roman Boylen (141), Chase Zemenak (149), Zach Shareef (149), Dylanger Potter (149/157) and Justin Lampe (165).

Carr, a former national junior college champion, lost his first match of the day Friday in a consolation round, falling in the fourth overtime to Rutgers' Nicholas Gravina.

DeBien and heavyweight Jared Johnson were eliminated Thursday.
