Defensive tackle Jordan Davis commits to Georgia

Georgia picked up the 18th football commitment for its 2018 signing class Thursday night - from defensive tackle Jordan Davis of Charlotte.

The 6-foot-6, 330- pounder from Mallard Creek High is a four-star prospect, according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings, which list him as the nation's No. 27 defensive tackle and No. 312 prospect overall. Davis picked the Bulldogs over scholarship offers from the likes of Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Clemson, North Carolina, South Carolina and N.C. State.

There is a Jordan Davis on Georgia's 2017 roster - a senior tight end from Thomson, Ga.
