TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Tennessee scraped and clawed, but Alabama dominated.

The Crimson Tide rolled to 45-7 win over the Volunteers in the 100th meeting between the teams Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Tennessee's offense failed to score a touchdown for the third consecutive game as the Vols fell to 3-4 (0-4 Southeastern Conference). Alabama improved to 8-0 (5-0 SEC).

Alabama led just 7-0 after the first quarter, and the Tennessee defense held its own throughout the first half until a pair of touchdowns late in the second quarter put the Crimson Tide ahead 21-0 at halftime.
