Tennessee released its finalized 2018 football schedule Tuesday in tandem with the Southeastern Conference's release of its slate for next year.
The Vols will play five consecutive SEC games from late September to late October, including a cross-division game at Auburn on Oct. 13.
Tennessee will open the season with a neutral-site game for the second year in a row by facing West Virginia in Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium on Sept. 1.
After that, nonconference games against East Tennessee State and Texas El-Paso precede the beginning of the league slate with Florida on Sept. 22.
Auburn is on the Vols' schedule for the first time since 2013. The Tigers have won the last six in the series, going back to 2003. Tennessee last won at Auburn in 1998.
