* Former Baylor School standout Chase Roswall from Bristol and fellow incoming Tennessee Volunteers freshman golfer Spencer Cross from Sevierville won the 2017 Tennessee Four-Ball Championship on Saturday at The Country Club of Morristown. Roswall already was the 2017 Tennessee Match Play champion. He and Cross beat two sets of former champions 1 up on Saturday: Lee Maxwell and Wes Korth with Cross's 15-foot birdie putt on No. 18 in the semifinals and Jack Smith and Ryan Greer with Roswall's 40-footer from the fringe on No. 18 in the final match. Smith and Greer won the first two holes, but Roswall and Cross got square on No. 5 and took their first lead on the next hole. The 2016 champs got even at No. 8, and the match stayed square until Roswall's eagle on No. 16. Greer birdied No. 17, setting up the final drama.
