Tennessee Smokies edge Chattanooga Lookouts in 12 innings

KODAK, Tenn. -- Justin Bour's one-out single to left field in the 12th inning Monday night gave the Tennessee Smokes a 5-4 win over the visiting Chattanooga Lookouts.

Bour's hit off relief pitcher Geison Aguasviva scored Nate Samson to clinch the series for Tennessee. Samson led off the 12th with a walk and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt.

After the Smokies scored three runs in the first inning, Blake Smith opened the second with a home run to right to get the Lookouts on the board. Smith had an RBI double to left to key a two-run third inning as Chattanooga pulled into a 3-3 tie.

Game five of the five-game series is this morning at 11:30. Matt Magill (0-1, 8.25 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Dae-Eun Rhee (1-0, 3.00) scheduled for the Smokies.
