Six CFC players score in opening win

The Chattanooga Football Club got its 2015 soccer season off to a good start with a 6-0 win Saturday evening over the Georgia Revolution in Conyers, Ga.

Chattanooga FC led only 1-0 at halftime but erupted for five goals in the final 45 minutes. Jordan Dunstan put the visitors on the scoreboard in the 25th minute from a cross by Leo De Smedt, who followed that up with a goal 10 minutes into the second half.

Shortly after, Luke Winter added a goal. Samuel Gonin then scored, followed by Sias Reyneke and Sean Rutter.

Chattanooga FC is back in action Wednesday, when it hosts the Ocala Stampede of the United States Premier Development League in CFC's first game of the U.S. Open Cup. The match begins at 7:30 p.m. at Finley Stadium.
