Fishing Report

CENTER HILL

Fishing is reported to be good. Bass are being caught on spinnerbaits, plastic worms and jigs. Some crappie are being caught on jigs and minnows. Trout are being taken in the tailwater area.

CHICKAMAUGA

The water temperature is in the low 70s and is perfect for bass fishing. Baitfish are active and largemouth and smallmouth bass will be feeding aggressively throughout the day.

NICKAJACK

The water temperature is in the lower 70s and fishing should be good on most species of fish. Using liver with nite crawler will be the best bait for catfish, and largemouth bass can be caught on plastic worms and crankbait.

TIMS FORD

The lake is full and the water temperature is in the 70s. Crappie are being caught in shallow water near brush and stumps. Most primary water fish being caught are shallow bank runners. Jigs, crankbaits and plastic worms are being used more often than other lures.
