Michael Neal from Dayton, Tenn., collected a $60,000 paycheck Sunday for his runner-up finish in the Walmart FLW Tour's 2016 Forrest Wood Cup out of Huntsville, Ala., on Wheeler Lake. Neal, who operates the Dayton Boat Dock on Chickamauga Lake, had the second-biggest haul on the prestigious fishing tournament's final day - his daily limit of five bass totaled 12 pounds, 12 ounces, behind the 16-6 caught by Jeremy Lawyer of Sarcoxie, Mo. - but he couldn't catch winner John Cox of DeBary, Fla., who had an 11-8 haul on Sunday to finish at 54-13 and earn a $300,000 prize. Neal's four-day total was 50-10, 5 ounces better than Todd Auten of Lake Wylie, S.C. Neal started the day in third place, behind Cox - who led at the end of each day - and Auten.

' As one of the two No. 4 seeds in the Senior Division of the RBI World Series in Cincinnati, the Chattanooga RBI team lost 6-5 to the other pool's No. 1 seed from Milwaukee as elimination play began Sunday morning at the tournament for Major League Baseball's Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities program. Chattanooga led 4-0 after 3 1/2 innings, but Milwaukee scored twice in the bottom of the fourth and added three runs in the fifth to go ahead 5-4. Chattanooga tied in the sixth, but Milwaukee answered with a run in bottom half and held Chattanooga scoreless in the seventh to advance. Chattanooga finished 1-3 at the tournament.

' Area fighters Tyler Howard and DeMarcus Rogers won by knockout in pro bouts Saturday night at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Howard, from Crossville, Tenn., improved to 13-0 with nine knockouts as a pro in his super middleweight first-round defeat of Missouri resident Quincy Minor. Chattanoogan Rogers, also the event's promoter, is 8-2-1 after stopping Clifford McPherson of Cleveland, Ohio, late in the third round of their super welterweight bout.
