Noah Cochran, Anastasia McKay win Karen Lawrence Run

Noah Cochran won the 39th Karen Lawrence Run on a cold, cold New Year's Eve, and Anastasia McKay was the female winner of the 4-mile race benefiting the local Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The 18-year-old Cochran finished the course from the downtown Sportsbarn and back in 26 minutes, 21 seconds Sunday night. He's a 2017 graduate of Silverdale Baptist Academy now at Bryan College.

McKay, 36, finished in 31:01 and was sixth overall.

Bruno Martins, 35, was the runner-up to Cochran in 28:23, and masters winner Todd Viens, 44, was third in 28:27. Ryan Heming, 33, and David Moghani, 51, were fourth and fifth in 30:42 and 30:54.

Erin Brown, 21, was the second female in 34:25, nine seconds ahead of Savannah Stafford, 30. Jodi Davis, 52, was the female masters winner and the fourth woman overall in 34:46.

There were 122 registrants and 118 finishers in the 4-mile race. The annual run also included a 2-mile fun run/walk.
