Baylor: Jacob Huesman scored twice, rushing for 132 yards, and the Red Raiders moved to 2-0 for the second year in a row with a come-from-behind 42-28 victory over Tyner.

Bledsoe County: Holden Boynton scored three times - on runs of 1 and 9 yards and a 12-yard pass from Cody Holloway - in a 47-22 win over visiting Marion County.

Boyd-Buchanan: Linebacker Ross Keasler had 17 tackles, including 3.5 behind the line of scrimmage, and a fumble recovery in a 32-6 loss to Red Bank.

Bradley Central: Justin Houston scored a 54-yard rushing TD and finished with 61 rushing yards, 18 receiving yards and an interception in the Bears' 35-0 shutout of Coffee County.

Calhoun: Dustin Christian finished with 156 yards on 29 carries (19 of those in the second half) as the Yellow Jackets rallied for a 27-14 victory over host Dalton.

Central: Vonn Bell returned a fumble 10 yards in the final period as the Pounders rallied for a 21-17 victory over Sequatchie County.

Chattanooga Christian: Jay Sims had only nine rushing attempts but picked up 50 yards and two TDs in the Chargers' 21-7 victory over Lookout Valley. It was the second win in the program's history.

Cleveland: Chad Voytik threw only 10 passes but completed each and had five touchdown passes in the Blue Raiders' 47-6 victory over McMinn Central. Voytik finished with 248 yards although he didn't throw a single pass in the second half.

Dade County: David Hampton rushed for two first-quarter touchdowns and added a 53-yard punt return for a third-quarter score in a 48-0 win over Gordon Lee.

Dalton: Trey Beck ran 21 times for 76 hard-fought yards, but the Catamounts lost Matt Land's head-coaching debut to visiting Calhoun.

East Hamilton: Harrison Warren returned an interception 43 yards in the Hurricanes' 48-10 season-opening loss to Signal Mountain.

East Ridge: Demetrius Bumpass scored twice in mop-up work as the Pioneers rushed for 382 yards as a team and rolled past Silverdale Baptist 40-14.

Gordon Lee: Austin Crisp ran for 24 yards on six carries in a 48-0 loss at Dade County.

Grace Academy: Josh Smith scored both Golden Eagles touchdowns in a 33-12 loss at Knoxville Grace Christian.

Grundy County: Johnny Cook rushed for 92 yards in a 53-14 loss to South Pittsburg.

Howard: Craig Steward blocked a punt and returned it 30 yards as the Hustlin' Tigers rolled over Notre Dame, 48-6

Hixson: Gary Cosey ran for 77 yards but couldn't get in the end zone in the Wildcats' 26-0 loss to Soddy-Daisy.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: Tailback Bubba Cruz led the Warriors with 55 rushing yards in a 44-21 loss to Ringgold.

Lookout Valley: Jamal Jones pulled in a 49-yard touchdown pass in a 21-7 loss to Chattanooga Christian.

McCallie: Garrett Hicks' 12-yard touchdown with 1:21 left to play lifted the Blue Tornado to a 13-9 victory over visiting McMinn County.

McMinn Central: Charles Turner picked up 68 yards on 11 carries in the Chargers' 47-6 loss to Cleveland.

McMinn County: Quarterback Drew Masingale ran for 54 yards and a TD and passed for another 123, but the Cherokees lost 13-9 at McCallie.

Meigs County: The Tigers got shut out by Cumberland County, 34-0.

Ooltewah: Linebacker Jay Rudwall had 15 tackles - his second straight double-digit performance - as the Owls beat Austin-East 20-14 in Knoxville.

Red Bank: Kelvin Clay intercepted a pass and returned it for one score, caught a 28-yard pass from Niquia McDuffie and threw a 38-yard pass to Kameno Watson in the Lions' season-opening 32-6 victory over Boyd-Buchanan.

Ringgold: Justin Gregory pulled in four passes for 73 yards - two of them for TDs - and also returned an interception for a score as the Tigers beat rival Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 44-21.

Sequatchie County: Hunter Lewis opened the scoring with a touchdown in the Indians' 21-17 loss to Central.

Signal Mountain: Donnie Garner rushed nine times and picked up 73 yards in the balanced Eagles' 48-10 victory over East Hamilton on Thursday.

Silverdale Baptist: Wil Amos scored both of his team's touchdowns in a 40-14 loss to East Ridge.

Soddy-Daisy: Caleb Edwards scored twice and ran for 146 yards in the Trojans' 26-0 victory over Hixson.

South Pittsburg: Raquis Hale averaged 14.5 yards on 10 carries and scored on runs of 13 and 33 yards as the Pirates beat Grundy County 53-14.

Tyner: Travis Jones ran for two touchdowns and passed for another, but the Rams again were plagued by turnovers - three of six fumbles lost and an interception - in a 42-28 loss to Baylor.
