High school sports standouts for Sept. 29

Allyson Hale, St. Andrew's-Sewanee: She had three goals and an assist in a 6-0 soccer victory over Huntland.

Hannah Wyatt, Soddy-Daisy: She scored a goal and assisted on two as the Lady Trojans cruised past Ooltewah 6-0 in a District 5-AAA soccer match.

Abbie Alosi, Silverdale Baptist: Her hat trick accounted for half the goals when the Lady Seahawks shut out Sequoyah in a District 5-A/AA soccer match.

Katie Ware, Hixson: Her 27 kills, 19 digs, five blocks and four aces were instrumental in helping the Lady Wildcats edge East Hamilton 3-2 and maintain second place in the District 6-AA volleyball race.

Hayley McBee, Lookout Valley: She had 14 kills and 12 digs and the second-place Lady Yellow Jackets moved to 4-1 in the District 6-A volleyball standings.

Brenna Nation and Courtney Towns, Gordon Lee: Nation pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and each went 2-for-3 in the Lady Trojans' six-inning victory over Bowdon in the Region 6-A softball championship game. Towns homered, doubled and had three RBIs, and Nation drove in two runs.

Erin Hill, Sale Creek: She totaled 20 kills, eight assists, five digs, four aces and two blocks in the Lady Panthers' 3-0 volleyball win, giving them an undefeated season in District 6-A regular-season play.

Angela Monk, Chattanooga Christian: She served 10 aces and helped CCS defeat the Chattanooga Patriots 3-0 in volleyball.

Erica Burkhart, Ringgold: She was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs in the Lady Tigers' 11-0 four-inning softball win over Ridgeland.

Brianna Wesley, Silverdale Baptist: She had nine kills and three blocks for the Lady Seahawks, who beat Arts & Sciences 3-0 in volleyball to improve to 6-0 in District 5-A.

Kelsey Chernak, Ooltewah: She set 14 assists for the Lady Owls in their 3-0 District 5-AAA volleyball win over McMinn County.

Kaylea Breeden, Gordon Lee: In two matches she totaled 35 assists and 22 digs and helped the volleyball Lady Trojans to 2-0 sweeps of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and Coahulla Creek.

Chassie Harris, Hixson: She had three goals and an assist as the Lady Wildcats beat East Ridge 6-0 in soccer.

Elizabeth Mouw, Grace Academy: The Lady Golden Eagles tied Sweetwater in a District 5-A/AA soccer match, and she had their goal.

Chasidy Ainslie, Central: Her 36 assists aided the Lady Purple Pounders in their 3-1 District 6-AA volleyball victory over East Ridge.

Emily Foster, Arts & Sciences: The Lady Patriots' keeper had four saves in a 3-0 District 6-A/AA soccer win over Red Bank.
