Jervon Johnson
Ooltewah High School, Senior
Why he won
Ooltewah's versatile senior was among the area's top scorers, averaging 21.6 points per game as the Owls went 27-5 and advanced to the state tournament for the first time in 32 years. He totaled 323 3-pointers and scored 1,641 points in his three-year career. He also usually defended the opponents' top perimeter scorer.
"Going to the state tournament is something I'll remember, since Ooltewah hadn't been to the state in 30 or so years. That was our main goal from the beginning."
