Matt James, McMinn County: He allowed no runs and just two hits while pitching into the seventh inning before giving way with one out as the Cherokees surprised Bradley Central, 5-0.

Jared Broome, Walker Valley: He pitched a two-hitter and added a run and an RBI in the Mustangs' 7-0 win over Cleveland.

Cody Sherlin, Heritage: He was 3-for-5 and drove in two runs as the Generals beat Southeast Whitfield 9-2.

Dakota Hudson, Sequatchie County: He had three RBIs and went 3-for-4 in the Indians' 8-1 district win over Bledsoe County.

Jackson Bostain, Notre Dame: His seventh-inning single knocked in the winning run in the Irish's 1-0 victory over Chattanooga Christian.

Dalton Rogers: He tripled and singled, scoring twice and picking up four RBIs, in the Trojans' 10-5 win over Baylor.

Reese Phillips, Signal Mountain: The junior struck out seven in a one-hitter, improving his record to 2-1 in the Eagles' 10-0 win over Grundy County.

Levi Wallace, Lookout Valley: He was 3-for-4 with three RBIs in the Golden Eagles' 8-3 victory over Marion County.

Brian Viscomi, McCallie: He tripled and doubled and picked up an RBI in the Blue Tornado's 14-0 win over McMinn Central.

Colin Wimberley, Polk County: He went 3-for-5 and scored three runs in the Wildcats' 17-6 defeat of Meigs County.

Austin Cline, Boyd-Buchanan: He doubled and batted in three runs in the Buccaneers' 8-5 win over Silverdale Baptist.

Austin Norrell, Calhoun: He struck out nine and gave up no earned runs in Calhoun's 8-1 win over Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.

Seametrius Battle, Tyner: He went 3-for-3 with two doubles and scored twice as the Rams edged East Ridge 3-2.

Chase Morrissey, Ooltewah: He was 3-for-3 with three RBIs as the Owls won 12-2 in six innings to even their season series with Rhea County at one apiece.

Courtney Borns, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: She scored the goal in the Lady Warriors' 1-0 soccer defeat of North Murray.

Dubin Ham, Tinashe Dinbwa, St. Andrew's-Sewanee: The two paired up for a second-half goal, as Dinbwa scored off Ham's assist to forge a 1-1 tie with Cascade.

Rodrigo Alonso, Baylor: Alonso scored the Red Raiders' goal as the team tied Notre Dame 1-1.

Kyle Holley, Notre Dame: Holley scored for the Irish in the 1-1 tie with Baylor.

Logan Herring, Silverdale: He scored twice as the Seahawks defeated Grace Academy 3-0.

Tad Whitaker, East Ridge: Whitaker finished with three goals and two assists as the Pioneers defeated Central 8-0.

Andy Rosen, Signal Mountain: Rosen racked up three goals and four assists as the Eagles pounded Bledsoe County 12-0.

Felipe Munoz, Ooltewah: Munoz finished with two goals and two assists as the Owls defeated Warren County 6-2.

Ivey Daniels, Ooltewah: She was 4-for-4 with four RBIs in the Lady Owls' 13-2 softball win over McMinn County.

Brooklynn Girdley, Sequatchie County: She struck out eight in a four-hit, 11-3 victory over Grundy County.

Haley Williamson, Boyd-Buchanan: She had five hits in seven at-bats in a doubleheader, picking up eight RBIs in 7-3 and 21-0 wins over Copper Basin.

Tori Denayer, Soddy-Daisy: She pitched a three-hitter, striking out seven, in a 6-1 victory over Rhea County.
