LINCOLNTON, Ga. -- Gordon Lee advanced Saturday to the second round of Georgia's Class A baseball playoffs with a 13-5 win over Lincoln County in the deciding game of the best-of-three series. The Trojans (24-7) had eight extra-base hits among their 10 in rallying from a 5-0 deficit.

Cody Wilson had a homer and two doubles and drove in four runs, while Jake Rogers had two doubles and two RBIs for Gordon Lee, which will travel Wednesday to Providence Christian Academy for a doubleheader start to the second-round series.

"We didn't start good today, but all that mattered was that we finished well," said Trojans coach Mike Dunfee, whose team gave up five unearned runs in the third inning. "That was one bad inning, but we regrouped."

In Class AA, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe fell 12-4 in its deciding game at third-ranked North Oconee. The Warriors (16-12) received three hits from Daniel Deocampo but committed eight errors against the 22-5 winners.
