Mary Stewart Schwarz scored on a header in the 21st minute, and Brentwood advanced to the state championship match by defeating top-ranked Farragut 1-0 in the Class AAA girls' soccer semifinals.
The Lady Bruins (17-2-1) will face Siegel (16-3-3), which edged Houston 1-0 in the other semifinal, in Saturday's championship match at 1:30 at GPS.
Schwarz's goal came on a free kick by Jessi Booher. The match served as a bit of revenge for the Lady Bruins, who were defeated 2-1 by the Lady Admirals earlier in the year.
Brentwood goalkeeper Kat Lee finished with seven saves, while Farragut's Katy Hill had five.
• Siegel 1, Houston 0: Emily Williams scored unassisted in the 62th minute to send the Lady Stars to the victory. Siegel was credited with only two shots, while Houston finished with seven but only one on frame.
• Christian Academy of Knoxville 2, White House 0: The Lady Warriors set up a Class A/AA title rematch against Christ Presbyterian Academy by scoring a goal in each half. Addy Cronan assisted on both, by Emily Holcomb and Laura Morse, for CAK (23-0-1), which won 3-1 in last year's final.
