Chattanooga area high school standouts for April 1

• Dakota Hudson, Sequatchie County: He threw a 12-strikeout no-hitter with only two walks as the baseball Indians defeated Notre Dame 12-1.

• Jacob Maynard, Bradley Central: He threw a complete game with eight strikeouts as the Bears edged McMinn County 2-1.

• Zach Thompson and Hayden Bradley, Ooltewah: Thompson pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts, while Bradley was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a run batted in as the Owls defeated Rhea County, 5-0.

• Jack Bosworth, Chattanooga Christian: He doubled, singled and knocked in three runs in the Chargers' 7-0 win over Bledsoe, which made CCS 3-0 in District 7-AA.

• Colton Morgan, Central: In a 14-9 District 6-AA win over East Ridge, he hit two home runs, scored three times and had three RBIs.

• Winston Whitener, McCallie: He went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs in the Blue Tornado's eight-inning, 10-9 victory over Soddy-Daisy.

• Braxton Reese, Signal Mountain: He threw a five-hit shutout, striking out seven in the Eagles' 5-0 victory over Grundy County.

• Noelle Winkles, Baylor: She had four hits including a triple and a double, scored three runs and knocked in four in the Lady Red Raiders' 20-0 softball victory at Harpeth Hall.

• Brook Womack, Central: A triple was her only hit, but it led to three RBIs in her team's 4-3 victory over Ooltewah.

• Forrest Hooten, Signal Mountain: He had a win at No. 1 singles in tennis for the Eagles, who defeated Lookout Valley 6-0.

• Rivers De'Friese, Hixson: He earned one of the victories in the Wildcats' 9-0 tennis win over East Ridge.

• Anna Cameron, Signal Mountain: She had a win for the Lady Eagles in their 7-0 tennis defeat of Lookout Valley.

• Emily Gilreath, Hixson: Her victory at No. 1 singles helped the Lady Wildcats defeat East Ridge 9-0.

• Alicia Salazar, Collegedale Academy: Salazar had a win for the Lady Eagles at No. 1 singles as they defeated district foe Silverdale 9-0.
