Tennessee/Georgia All-Star game schedule

Tuesday: Girls' and boys' basketball at Notre Dame, 6

Saturday, June 15: Soccer at Finley Stadium, 1:30

Tuesday, June 18: Baseball at Ridgeland, 6

Wednesday, June 19: Softball at Frost Stadium, 6 (DH)

What's better than Christmas in July? Football in June.

The annual Tennessee vs. Georgia all-star football rivalry will renew for the 10th time tonight at McCallie, starting at 7:30. The rosters are made up of recent graduates from more than a dozen southeastern Tennessee and northwestern Georgia counties.

Boyd-Buchanan's Grant Reynolds is the Tennessee coach, and North Murray's David Gann leads the Georgia all-stars. With a Tennessee win, Reynolds would become the first head coach in the series' history to go 2-0. He directed a 17-0 win in 2010.

Tennessee holds a 6-3 advantage in the all-time series, but the teams have traded wins the last two years.

Tonight's game is the first in this year's multisport series of Tennessee/Georgia all-star matchups. The basketball games will be played Tuesday at Notre Dame. Later games will be in soccer, baseball and softball.
