* Lauren Lewis, Baylor: She went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs in a 12-0 softball win over Brentwood Academy.

* Jordan Triplett, Polk County: She struck out six batters in an 8-2 win over Sequoyah in the District 5-AA tournament losers-bracket final.

* Spencer Mossburg, Silverdale Baptist: He struck out 10 and had two home runs and seven RBIs as the Seahawks coasted to the District 5-A baseball tournament championship in a 29-0 defeat of Arts & Sciences.

* Johnny Goodman, Red Bank: His grand slam and six RBIs sparked the Lions to a 9-7 defeat of top-seeded Central in the District 6-AA losers-bracket final.

* Jake Moon, Meigs County: His grand slam in a 2-for-3 performance led the Tigers to an 11-10 squeaker over Polk County in the District 5-AA losers-bracket final.

* Ben Dean, Bledsoe County: He was 3-for-4 with three RBIs in the District 7-AA championship game, an 8-4 victory over Sequatchie County.

* Christian Amos, Soddy-Daisy: In the District 5-AAA losers-bracket final, he struck out six and scattered five hits over seven innings as the Trojans topped Cleveland 10-1.

* Kenny Diaz, Boyd-Buchanan: He scored two goals as the Bucs won the District 5-A/AA soccer championship in a 2-0 defeat of Sweetwater.

* Danielle Simms, GPS: She picked up a 6-0, 6-1 match victory, but the Bruisers fell 4-2 to Knoxville Webb in tennis.

* Max Jump, Baylor: He scored six goals in Baylor's 16-6 TSLA lacrosse state first-round victory over Knoxville Webb.
