Three girls from the Chattanooga area have been named finalists for their classification's TSSAA Miss Basketball award.

There are three finalists for both Mr. and Miss Basketball in each of the state's five classifications, and while there were no area boys on the list, Baylor's Kaleigh Clemons (Division II-AA), McMinn Central's Jacobi Lynn (Class AA) and Van Buren County's Lakelyn Bouldin (Class A) did earn finalists honors.

Clemons, a Vanderbilt signee, won the award last year and is averaging 12 points, 7 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game. Lynn, a junior who is being recruited by UT-Chattanooga, Liberty and Tennessee Tech, averages 22.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2 steals per game. And Bouldin, a UTC signee, is averaging 20.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.4 steals per game.

The award winners will be announced on March 8 at Middle Tennessee State University.
