MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Silverdale Baptist Academy defeated Marion County 2-1 in Friday morning's winners-bracket final of the TSSAA Class A state softball tournament at Starplex No. 4.
Silverdale (41-4) will play Meigs County (39-3) for the championship this afternoon at 3 EDT. If necessary, a second championship game would follow at 6:30.
Third-place Marion County ends its season 36-9.
