The Tennessee state football playoffs will begin Friday and a dozen Chattanooga area teams will be at home.

Those schools include Bradley Central, Rhea County, Ooltewah, Hixson, Sequatchie County, Red Bank, Notre Dame, Marion County, Meigs County, South Pittsburg, Whitwell and McCallie.

Those on the road are Central, East Hamilton, McMinn Central, East Ridge, Howard, Boyd-Buchanan, Tyner, Copper Basin, Grace Academy and Baylor.

All games begin at 7 p.m. local time.

At 10-0, Sequatchie County, ranked second in the latest Class 3A state polls, is the only local unbeaten in the field.
