A fielding error by Chattanooga shortstop Ivan Ochoa with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning enabled Paul Gran to score the winning run from third at lift Jacksonville to a 5-4 win over the Lookouts on Sunday.
Gran had reached third moments earlier on a throwing error by Lookouts relief pitcher Scott Rice. The Lookouts (25-17) trailed 4-3 entering the ninth inning but tied the game on Matt Wallach's one-out sacrifice to left that scored Kyle Russell.
Game four of a five-game series in Jacksonville is tonight at 7:05.
Chris Withrow (3-6, 4.38) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Bryan Evans (1-0, 2.08) scheduled for the Suns.
