Lookouts pad division lead with 10-4 victory

KODAK, Tenn. -- The North Division-leading Chattanooga Lookouts won the series against second-place Tennessee with a 10-4 Southern League baseball victory Thursday night.

Alex Castellanos went 3-for-5 and increased his batting average to .370 in leading the 15-hit attack for Chattanooga (36-23 second half) against the Smokies (34-26), the first-half division champs.

Castellanos doubled to center field to score Alfredo Silverio in a two-run first inning for the Lookouts, and Chattanooga had a three-run third that was highlighted by Matt Wallach's single to right that scored Brian Cavazos-Galvez and Elian Herrera. Castellanos homered to left in the sixth inning to put the Lookouts up 6-3.

The Lookouts begin a six-game series in Mobile tonight at 8:05 EDT. Stephen Fife (2-0, 3.47 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for Chattanooga, with Patrick Corbin (9-7, 4.01) scheduled for the BayBears.
