Mudcats 4, Lookouts 1

Sunday's recap: Chattanooga produced twice as many errors as runs, had manager Carlos Subero ejected in the sixth inning, and lost for the second time in three days to the Southern League's worst team. The Lookouts (21-22) took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Kyle Russell drew a walk, advanced to third on a Wilberto Ortiz double down the right-field line and scored on a Matt Wallach sacrifice to center. Carolina scored twice in the fourth on the strength of doubles by Mike Costanzo and Neftali Soto and twice more in the sixth, when the Mudcats benefited from a throwing error by Lookouts relief pitcher Justin Miller.

Next game: Game four of a five-game series in Carolina is tonight at 7:15.

Pitchers: Michael Antonini (2-6, 4.17) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with James Avery (3-5, 4.40) scheduled for the Mudcats.
