Chattanooga Lookouts logoChattanooga's road opener was spoiled Wednesday when Tennessee's Rafael Lopez doubled to right in the sixth inning to score Kris Bryant and Dustin Geiger, with Lopez then scoring on a throwing error by Lookouts first baseman O'Koyea Dickson. Tennessee finished with a 3-1 win.
Chattanooga committed four errors in the game. The Lookouts (2-4) had taken a 1-0 lead in the fourth when Darnell Sweeney opened with a single to center and scored on a Scott Schebler ground out.
Game two of a five-game series at Tennessee is this morning at 11:30.
Tyson Brummett is scheduled to make his debut for the Lookouts, while the Smokies had not named a starter as of Wednesday night.
