Allen Webster, Chattanooga Lookouts pin 5-3 loss on Huntsville Stars

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Pitcher Allen Webster and the Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Huntsville Stars 5-3 in Southern League baseball Tuesday night.

Anthony Jackson went 4-for-5 and scored twice as Chattanooga outhit the Stars 16-7, and Webster (5-8) allowed six hits and only one earned run while striking out seven batters in seven innings.

C.J. Retherford, who had three hits, singled in the first run of the game in the third inning for the Lookouts and scored along with Jackson on a Rafael Ynoa single in the fifth.

Game four of the five-game series is tonight at 7:43 EDT. Zach Lee (0-2, 7.92 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts; Johnny Hellweg (0-0, 0.00) is listed for the Stars.

The Lookouts lost two right-handed pitchers in major league trades Tuesday, Ethan Martin to the Phillies organization in the Shane Victorino deal and Logan Bawcom to the Mariners. Left-hander Eric Eadington was brought up from Rancho Cucamonga in the California League.
