The Chattanooga Lookouts evened their series with Jackson on Saturday night at AT&T Field with an 8-5 comeback victory.

Hours earlier, Lookouts starting pitcher Allen Webster was dealt to the Boston Red Sox as part of a nine-player blockbuster trade that resulted in the Los Angeles Dodgers gaining Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford and Josh Beckett. The 22-year-old Webster went 6-8 with a 3.55 earned run average in 27 appearances with the Lookouts this season, and he entered this spring rated by Baseball America as the No. 2 prospect in the Dodgers organization.

Webster's 22 starts ranked third on the team, while his 121 innings worked and his 117 strikeouts ranked second to Matt Magill.

Magill and Aaron Miller are the remnants of Chattanooga's rotation that started this season, and Miller took the mound Saturday only to be pulled before working five innings. The Generals took a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning with consecutive doubles by Mike Zunino, Johermyn Chavez and Kallan Sams, and Miller was out immediately after a two-run home run to left in the fifth by Rich Poythress made it 5-1.

Chattanooga rallied with a five-run six inning that was highlighted by Jake Lemmerman's three-run double to center. C.J. Retherford opened the seventh inning with a triple to left that ignited a two-run burst that put the Lookouts up 8-5.

The win enabled the Lookouts (36-26) to regain a three-game lead over the Generals (33-29) in the Southern League's North Division with eight games remaining. The teams play today at 2:15 p.m. at AT&T.
