Sunday's recap: Touted Chattanooga starting pitcher Zach Lee failed to work three innings before allowing eight runs as Mississippi rolled to its first win over the Lookouts in seven tries this season. Philip Gosselin's three-run home run to left in the second inning gave the Braves a 6-3 lead and broke open the game, which squared the series after the Lookouts won Saturday's rain-delayed opener 3-0. Kyle Russell's double to left in the first scored Nick Buss and Blake Smith to put the Lookouts (13-11) up 2-0, and Buss singled to center in the second to score Jake Lemmerman and tie the game at 3-3. In the sixth, Joe Terdoslavich and Mathew Kennelly each tripled, combining for three RBIs that inning as the Braves took a 13-3 lead.
Next game: Game three of a four-game series in Mississippi is tonight at 8 EDT.
Pitchers: Ethan Martin (7-5, 3.14) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Gary Moran (2-7, 3.08) scheduled for the Braves.
